The Director, Regional Sales is required to provide leadership to the sales team members so that all performance targets are achieved. This key roll is responsible for overseeing business development and the completion and delivery of profitability goals.
KEYRESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and achieve region sales performance targets.
Deliver, deploy and accomplish annual sales plans annual sales plan.
Development of annual Joint Business Plans, periodic Tactical Business Plans, monthly Tactical Business Reviews, Competitive Pricing Surveys, as well as weekly Progress Checks of customer performance.
Ensure sales process is executed.
Be an active team member of the sales team.
Coach and develop team members.
Participate and advise in matters of business development.
Develop and manage all pricing and programming plans.
Represent Brands when in public the public eye, ensuring a positive image for the company.

Experience:
The qualified candidates will have between five and seven years of wine sales, general management or marketing experience with ever-increasing levels of responsibility.
Program and budget development, implementation, management and strategic decision-making experience.
Demonstrated ability in distributor network within specific territory.
Keen understanding of the three-tier distribution system.
Proven experience and strong abilities in educating and motivating others to manage business effectively.
Strong knowledge/passion for the fine wine category.
Excellent communication skills; very articulate with strong public speaking ability/experience and excellent writing skills.
Willingness and ability to travel to all markets and key accounts for which responsible.
