Position Responsibilities: Our client, a multi-billion dollar Consumer Paged Goods corporation is looking for a dynamic individual to join their marketing team. As a Sr. Manager Consumer Marketing you will:
  • Assist in strategy development and identify, define and execute marketing programs for achieving superior results in one of two key business areas
    • Consumer Touchpoints: Product, Packaging, Lifestyle Marketing, Direct Mail, Web, Social Media, Print
    • Customer Touchpoints: Promotion, Distribution, In-store Communications
  • Apply understanding of Brands, Consumers and Customers to achieve commercial goals
  • Develop business cases based upon solid analytical skills, consumer insights and judgment
  • Provide leadership by collaborating with a broad, cross-functional team of peers (Marketing Finance, Marketing Research, Trade Marketing, Marketing Operations, R&D, Legal, & External Relations)
  • Ensure that corporate strategy and regulatory guidelines are imbedded in all marketing initiatives

Education Required: MBA pref.
 
Position Experience:
  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing related field, MBA/Masters Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years related professional experience. Preferred industries to include consumer packaged goods, image-based or lifestyle categories, marketing agencies, food and beverage
  • Experience in marketing new products and programs including the related technical skills (database, social media, event, websites, print, retail promotions, product development, research).
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and lead cross functional teams, quickly building credibility.
  • Leadership role in Marketing program development, planning, and implementation.
  • Strong organization and project and program management skills
  • Understanding of Branding and consumer trends
  • Ability to work collaboratively with marketing agencies, retail partners, and suppliers
