Responsibilities: |
BROAD FUNCTION AND SCOPE OF THE POSITION:
Lead analytical Support forcompany to provide insight to drive growth and profitability for Consumer Brands. Direct and execute all aspects of the All Outlet share report, including supplier management, data integrity, share report development and delivery to C-suite. Responsible for Shopper Insights management.
Manage the Syndicated Marketing Research Department and Advanced Analytics Group for the Consumer Products divisions. This includes the supervision and development of a staff of one FTE's and fourteen external contract employees from Nielsen.
Is responsible for supporting on the development of growth strategies for all brands throughout the integration, and translation of marketplace, consumer, competitive and environmental information, resulting in better short term and long term business performance. That responsibility includes:
" Playing a key role in setting marketing objective and strategies, and defining metrics for evaluation of organizational performance against those objectives and strategies.
" Acting as business counsel and key strategic planning resource for senior marketing and cross-functional management. Demonstrating the ability to communicate and leverage market research insights in a way that influenced business strategies
" Sharing accountability for the outcome of organizational actions taken based on recommendations made.
" Handle research responsibilities for syndicated needs, overseeing the development of all the research plans and research design, ensuring that are in line with business strategies and business needs.
" Create processes and system to measure marketing effectiveness and efficiency and engrain in business unit process.
" Deals with complex business issues at category or corporate level, making insightful analyses and reasoned solutions based on the integration of various data sources. He/She should have wide experience in the use and application of methodological solutions to complex problems and can bring that experience to bear in seeking the information to solve a business information problem
" Is a driver for objectivity and data-driven solutions into the operating culture

10 plus years experience in CPG syndicated marketing research.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
" Must be meticulous. Must be an excellent project planner, and must have the confidence to interact with the organization at the highest levels.
" Is leader and voice of the Syndicated Market Research vision across the company, and lead the group towards that vision.
" Data quality is a must - he/she would lead on establishing the supplier/vendor relationship for calibration and validation of research tools and data, ensuring selection of partnership based on best service, support, analysis, unique tools and data quality.
" Is a champion for finding new and more useful tools, providing leadership in methodology design and use, identifying and developing proprietary market research tools that lead to competitive advantage and can be applicable across categories, considering a broad set of business issues.
" Creates "best practice" standards and lead group on the use of them, resulting in more efficient delivery of business objectives.
" Responsible for training, developing, motivating and managing the work and career planning process for people reporting to him/ her.
" Identifies best-in-class external consulting (Universities, Customers, vendors, etc) and research resources. Develops and maintains relationships with consultants and research providers. Maintains professional network of industry practitioners as consultants on methodologies and approaches
" Demonstrates the leadership qualities of receptivity to new ideas, responsiveness to challenges, tirelessness in seeking solutions and teaming.
